Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions of booking and payments are effective at the time of issue and relate directly to the Quotation to which they are attached.

Explanatory Notes
"John Lisney Associates" shall be referred to as "JLA".
"JLA Premises" shall be defined as a location organised and funded by JLA, whether or not it is at JLA office.
"Client" shall be defined as the organisation authorising the training, whether or not they are the actual delegates.
"Bespoke Courses"shall be defined as courses arranged solely for the client and delivered at the client's arranged site.
"Scheduled Courses"are part of a programme of courses which JLA runs at JLA premises from time to time on which clients are invited to buy places for their delegates.

1 - Quotations
Quoted prices for Bespoke Courses are for a maximum of eight delegates per session. Extra delegates are charged pro rata where equipment/space allows. Weekly rates for courses outside the UK Home Counties are for a six-day maximum week.

2 - Payment
Payment shall be made as follows:
A) Bespoke Course fees shall be paid in full within thirty days of invoice date.

b) Scheduled Course fees shall be paid in full not less than five working days prior to the commencement of the course.

c) Courses held outside the UK shall be paid in two instalments:
i) 50% of the tuition fee and all expenses shall be paid on invoice not less than five working days prior to the tutor's departure date.
ii) the balance shall be paid within thirty days of invoice date.

3 - Cancellation

3.1Confirmed JLA courses and individual delegate places are not transferable.

3.2If the client is unable to fulfil their obligation to a course at short notice, they should contact JLA immediately.

3.3The following charges may be applied if the client cancels:

(a) Bespoke Courses in the UK:
The client will be invoiced for any costs already incurred by JLA.

(b) Scheduled Courses:
Less than 5 working days 100%
Less than 10 working days 75%
Less than one calendar month 50%
More than one calendar month Nil

(c) Coursses held outside the UK:
The client will be invoiced for any costs already incurred by JLA.

3.4 JLA reserves the right to cancel a course due to shortage of delegates or unforeseen circumstances. Any course fees already paid will be refunded.

3.5 JLA cannot be held responsible for any expenses incurred by the client in relation to any course.

4 - Syllabus and Copyright
Published JLA syllabus documentation is continually under review. JLA therefore reserves the right to vary the content from the published syllabus. All course syllabus and course material remains the copyright of John Lisney Associates and may only be reproduced with the prior written permission of JLA.

5 - Miscellaneous
These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time and should be read in conjunction with the Quotation attached.
